I bought myself an ipod in the summer of 2005. It was Stampede, and I wandered around town one sunny evening. I had a paycheque in hand, and I wanted to buy something great.
I walked downtown, then took the train to Chinook, where I went to Chapters to begin my hunt for the super awesome item. I then saw a glowing case. It was like something from a fantisy game. I saw an iPOD Nano, first gen.
My sister had one, and was bragging how cool it was, so I looked at the black iPOD and spent $350 dollars on it. I was excited beyond belief.
I put all my songs on the itty bitty music machine, and put my diskman away forever. I listened to that thing all night, marveling at it's glory.
I bought a pink casing for it, and put charms galore on it. It was my favorite piece of technology, and probably the coolest thing I ever owned, besides my teddy bear.
in the morning, I tried to turn it on, but it would just keep showing the apple logo. I rushed it to intensive care, and put it in the charger.
Jim found a way to turn it off, and at approximetly 1pm today, my iPOD went into a coma. Dr. James is trying to fix it, and the last attempt is to drain the battery, and re-boot it. We were talking about taking it off life support, but I'm not ready to part with my first iPOD yet. It was like a good friend, which would be there with me through everything.
If James does find a way to re-boot it, I will be very careful with it, and if it has indeed died, I will make a nice burial place for it, amongst the technology graveyard (beside the dead XBOX, and dead PSP.)
I'm sure everyone can understand the importance of music, and the fact that I will most likely go nuts when I am camping, without it. I actually started to cry today. I loved that thing.
Atleast it can now rest in peace, and atleast I will have it's memory. XD

I'm looking through some of your writings, you're very good.
I think there are things that have happened to you that you have every right to complain about, but please try to see the good in your life.
I think that your new boyfriend seems very nice and getting over that arse you dated before will be really helpful.
